John Rote

John joined Ethos CPA in January of 2026. He brings more than 20 years of tax experience, with a focus on individuals and trusts, along with over 25 years of accounting experience within large organizations.

He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington and later received his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Outside of work, John is a lifelong resident of Cleveland and enjoys traveling, particularly to Asia, as well as hiking, music, and reading in his spare time.
